Welcome to Byrd Cellars!  

Established in 2008 Byrd Cellars is a collaboration of three Goochland neighbors who had a passion for Virginia wines and a vision and dream to make them. We have three vineyards in Goochland: Celebration Vineyards on Davis Mill Road, Lower Byrd Farm Vineyard and Rassawek Vineyard both located on River Road West. Located in scenic southwestern Goochland County we are a new farm winery. Our tasting room is now open on weekends year round and by appointment.

Our wines are crafted beginning in our vineyards. We grow several varieties of American, European, and hybrid grapes with careful attention to the soils and climate unique to the James River/Piedmont environment. Using environmentally friendly farming practices, we nurture our grapes every season, harvesting in the fall and producing wines distinctly labeled Virginia. Our great wine begins with the vines.
